Watchmen Awake!

Prayer Points:

  • Ask God to awaken your spirit to the call and commitment to pray.
  • Pray for the prayer watchmen to awake and be aware, alert, and active.
  • Pray for the fulfillment of God's purpose and promise.
  • Watch and intercede against the enemy's infiltration.
  • Listen to hear the word of the Lord in how to respond.

Isaiah 62:6–7 (NKJV) "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, 7 And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV) "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."

The Cross

Confess personal sin to the Lord, write it down on an index card, ask His forgiveness, and then shred it as an act of faith in His forgiveness and cleansing.

Colossians 2:13–15 (NKJV) “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”
1 John 1:9 (NKJV) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Revival & Spiritual Awakening

Revival: Pray for the return of God’s people individually and corporately in covenant faithfulness to Christ and the Word of God.

Spiritual Awakening: Pray for the transformation of society and culture by the awakening power of the Holy Spirit characterized by spiritual hunger and thirst to know the God of the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ.

Salvation of Nations (Harvest)

Persecuted Church

Prayer Points:

  • To be given the right words and fearlessly make Christ known (Ephesians 6:19-20; Colossians 4:2-4)
  • To see God's grace as sufficient and God's power perfected in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). 
  • To love Christ's appearing even more (2 Timothy 4:5-8)
  • To rejoice in sharing the sufferings of Jesus so that they will rejoice even more when Christ is revealed (Hebrew 10:34; Matthew 5:12; 1 Peter 4:13)
  • To endure (Hebrews 5:8; 10:36)
