Child Like Faith That God Requires

Children don't hesitate to run back to a parent after getting hurt or getting in trouble. Jesus calls us to that same kind of faith, humble, trusting, and without shame. Too often, when we mess up, we pull away from God instead of running toward Him. But God is not keeping score or waiting to lecture us. Like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, He is already running toward us. The tension between the flesh and the Spirit is real, and whichever one we feed will grow stronger. When we stop pressing into God, the refining process stops and we become vulnerable. The invitation is simple: come back to Him now, just as you are, without waiting until you feel worthy.
