The enemy uses these distractions to prevent mothers from fulfilling their primary calling: raising children who will become kingdom representatives on earth.

How Do You Garden Godly Children?

Motherhood is like gardening, with the home as the garden and children as tender plants requiring careful cultivation:

Prepare the Environment

- Protect children from harmful influences (invasive thoughts, destructive media, negative peer pressure) - Create a safe space for spiritual growth

Plant the Right Seeds

- Fill their hearts with God's Word rather than worldly philosophies - Nurture these seeds through consistent prayer - Water daily with biblical lessons and godly wisdom

Provide Proper Care

- Expose them to the sunshine of God's love, joy, and encouragement - Fertilize their spiritual interests when you see growth toward God - Set boundaries (stakes) when they begin straying in wrong directions - Prune unproductive activities that distract from their calling

What Will Godly Children Accomplish?

Children raised with godly principles become powerful weapons against darkness. They will:

  • Preach the gospel to those who need salvation
  • Confront Satan's power with God's power
  • Expose lies with truth
  • Overcome spiritual darkness with Christ's light
  • Overcome evil with good and hate with love
  • Overcome fear with faith and chaos with peace
  • Gather the lost and deliver those bound by sin
  • Heal and restore what sin and Satan have broken

Life Application

This week, evaluate your role as a mother or mother figure through God's eyes rather than the world's standards. If you're a mother, recognize that your primary calling isn't found in career achievements but in raising children who will impact eternity.
